本系誠徵助理教授(含)以上專任教師1名,歡迎專長於固態地球、水圈、氣圈或其他地球科學相關領域之學者申請。本次徵才特別鼓勵具有與本系現有研究團隊合作潛力或能在研究上形成互補發展之申請人加入,並期望新聘教師具備發展跨領域合作研究及提升國際學術能見度的潛力與企圖。新聘教師須能開授本系核心基礎課程,以及與其專業領域相關之高階課程,並具備申請校外研究計畫及發展自有研究領域之能力。

FACULTY POSITION:
Department of Earth Sciences, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, TAIWAN

The Department of Earth Sciences at National Cheng Kung University invites applications for one full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.

We welcome applicants with expertise in Solid Earth, Hydrosphere, Atmosphere, or other related fields in Earth Sciences. Applicants who demonstrate the potential to collaborate with existing research teams or to complement the department’s current research strengths are especially encouraged to apply. We seek candidates with strong motivation and potential to conduct interdisciplinary research and to enhance international academic visibility. The successful candidate is expected to teach core undergraduate courses in Earth Sciences, as well as advanced courses in their area of expertise. The candidate should also be capable of securing external research funding and developing an independent research program.

The final decision made by the Department is subject to approval by the University.
The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026. Successful candidates should submit a cover letter summarizing their teaching andresearch experience and plans, a curriculum vitae, a copy of their Ph.D. diploma (or other supporting documents), reprints of key publications, and three letters of recommendation sent directly by the referees to the address below no later than October 31, 2025.
