The Second Announcement of the Taiwan International Symposium on Land Subsidence

Dear experts and scholars,

Thank you for your support of the Taiwan International Symposium on Land Subsidence, and thank you for your patience. We have completed the first version of the symposium program, which is attached to this email.

We are delighted to share that submissions have been highly enthusiastic worldwide. In total, we received 147 submissions, of which more than two-thirds were from outside Taiwan. While we aim to honor the presentation type preferred by each author, the limited capacity of the venue means we are unable to accommodate all requests for oral presentations. To address this, we applied the following scheduling principles:

1. Priority is given to reserving oral presentation slots for student competitions.
2. Submissions from scholars outside Taiwan are prioritized for oral presentations.
3. Domestic submissions are initially scheduled for poster presentations, with oral presentation considered as a backup option.

If you have a strong preference or motivation to present orally but have been scheduled for a poster presentation, please feel free to let us know. Should any confirmed oral presenter withdraw from the symposium, we will contact you with priority to fill the available oral slot.

Kind reminder: the early bird registration deadline is today, 2025/12/31 at 23:59 (UTC+8, Taiwan Time). If you have not yet completed your registration, we encourage you to do so before the deadline. In addition, excursion events have limited seats. If you wish to join an excursion, please register as soon as possible to avoid missing out.

For any inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us via the official symposium email address: twsub2026@gmail.com

We look forward to meeting you at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC), Taiwan, in mid-April 2026.

Wish you a Happy New Year.

Warm regards,
